Richard Araujo

National Sales Manager

As the National Sales Manager, Richard directs the day-to-day activities within the Sales team and takes great pride in teaching, coaching, and mentoring his team.  Fresh out of college he was hired by Anchor Audio to work in their PC department. In later years, he was promoted to the Technical Support department and now enjoys managing his team and passing on the vast knowledge he has accumulated over the years. Richard graduated with an A.S. degree in Computer Science & Electronics and likes to say he specializes in customer satisfaction and problem-solving. It’s not about the problems you come across, but how you react and solve them that matters.

In his spare time, he enjoys working out at the gym and watching sports; Basketball (Lakers), Hockey (Penguins), or Football (49ers). When sports season is over you can catch him enjoying time with friends or watching crime documentaries. His favorite genre is classic rock, with Lead Zeppelin being listened to regularly on his home turntable. Honorable mention goes to Madonna, which you’ll most likely catch him listening to at the gym.

Richard's favorite Anchor system is the Bigfoot because of its vast applications and exceptional sound output. The Bigfoot can be used in a gymnasium for prep rallies, on the sidelines to enjoy music, or inside for smaller conferences. It’s always best to have more sound than not enough!
