40 Years of covering a (very large) University Campus

Some additional information in one line

This is a university hero story. One where the hero manages to cover an entire campus -- classrooms, outdoor events, athletic practices and games, student group gatherings, and more -- with an army of student volunteers and a bevy of very reliable portable speakers.

We caught up with Dave Rauch from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and asked him how they use Anchor Audio systems.

With campuses in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Prescott, Arizona, Embry-Riddle is the world’s largest and most respected university specializing in aviation and aerospace.

Embry-Riddle has been using Anchor Audio portable PA systems for about 40 years... That's almost as long as Anchor Audio has been building portable speakers!

From student group events to athletic practices, classroom instruction, and presidential receptions, Anchor Audio systems cover it all.

Embry-Riddle's Prescott campus, where Dave works, is not a small place. With 3,000 students, 500-plus acres, 140-plus student clubs and organizations, 13 competitive men's and women's sports teams, 9 fraternities and sororities, and four colleges, their campus audio needs are diverse and never-ending.

On campus, Embry-Riddle uses a variety of Anchor Audio speakers, from Mini and AN-1000 systems deployed in classrooms (some since they were originally purchased many years ago) to Bigfoot speakers used at 1500+ person events.

Dave manages events with a small IT team and a dozen student volunteers. Dave's favorite Anchor Audio system is the Bigfoot. He loves the portability and power. Dave mentioned that the ease of use and durability of Anchor Audio systems are pluses when relying on students to set up and run events, making his job easier.

Dave's three Bigfoot speakers used almost daily, Embry-Riddle is busy getting all kinds of messages out across their campus.

Check out the video and learn how Embry-Riddle uses their Anchor Audio portable speakers, and how easy it is for them to cover their varied needs for audio around campus.
